Canepa is looking for an experienced Photographer to join and assist our marketing department. This position includes both photography and marketing duties. We are seeking a person who is proactive and who can work individually, as well as part of a multifunctional team.

Essential duties/responsibilities:

• Take professional and dynamic studio shots of luxury automobiles in our in-house studio.
• Photograph, edit, and present final vehicle images to the CEO in a timely and efficient manner.
• Responsible for researching and writing all copy for vehicle stories. Excellent writing and communication skills are a MUST.
• Maintain company website: adding vehicles to inventory, linking YouTube videos, updating information, etc.
• Maintain and manage company photography equipment (Nikon camera, studio lighting, soft boxes, flashes, etc.).
• Catalogue and maintain digital photo library.
• Additional marketing duties as needed to support the team, such as preparing marketing reports, advertisements, social media, email campaigns and other special projects.
• Experience with marketing, event scheduling and management.

Required Attributes:

• 3 years automotive photography experience and/or education
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite; specifically, Lightroom, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with copy writing, and fact checked copy.
• Mac literate
• Flexibility to work with a team and independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to set up an in-house studio with lighting equipment.
• Must be able to commute to company site – not a remote or hybrid position.

Preferred Attributes:

• Studies in related fields such as photography, visual arts, or graphic design preferred.
• Interest in luxury, collectible, and historic automobiles

Job Type: Full-time (50hrs/week)

Location: Scotts Valley, California

This is a non-exempt, hourly position. This is not a remote position.

Compensation: Hourly equates to $80k- $100k.
